LSI Logic designed its Simplicity Storage Manager to be simple to install and use, especially for the part-time storage administrator. In its lab facilities, Demartek evaluated the installation and ease of use of Simplicity Storage Manager for managing the LSI 1333 Serial-attached SCSI (SAS) storage system.
This paper includes the time and effort required to install Simplicity Storage Manager and manage the storage associated with it. Simplicity Storage Manager is designed to manage current and future storage arrays targeted at small and medium-sized businesses.
