Demartek Adds 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) Infrastructure to its Test Lab
12 August 2008
Demartek announces the addition of 10 Gigabit Per Second (Gbps) Enhanced Ethernet (10GbE) infrastructure and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) infrastructure to its test lab. Demartek has added a 40-port 10GbE Enhanced Ethernet switch that also supports FCoE and 4-Gbps Fibre Channel.
This new “unified networking” infrastructure can be used for validation testing of 10GbE devices and services in native or virtualized environments. In addition, this infrastructure support FCoE technology and can bridge to 4-Gbps Fibre Channel infrastructure.
